"The Storm" is a very sophisticated Java applet used to create a multimedia interactive learning environment.

In this page you will learn how to download "The Storm" and modify the script file that is used to describe all of the objects that appear in the applet. In fact you can completely change the appearance and action of this applet to add entirely new images and sounds.

The two interesting characteristics of this applet is the script file that defines all of the image and sound objects, and the extensive randomizing routines that create a very unpredictible and natural appearance of the lightning strikes and thunder.
